Complimentary Exam

Your first visit to our office will last approximately one hour. This exam is free, as are any required x-rays. A set of digital photos will be taken of your teeth, and Dr. Ross will use these to help explain your or your child’s unique situation.

Dr. Ross will discuss customized treatment options (no cookie-cutter treatment plans here), length of treatment, and answer any questions you may have so you can make the best decision on which treatment option is right for you or your child.

If treatment is necessary, our treatment coordinator will discuss fees and payment options for treatment. We accept insurance benefits, and are happy to file insurance claims for you. We will work with you to customize a payment plan that works for your family. We work hard to make orthodontics affordable.

Records Appointment

If you decide to proceed with treatment, models of the teeth will be made. These models are used to assist Dr. Ross in the placement of your braces. It is possible that Dr. Ross may require more information, and additional xrays or your teeth may be taken at this time. These records are also helpful in tracking the progress of treatment as the teeth move under orthodontic care.

After Dr. Ross has thoroughly evaluated your diagnostic records, she will explain your treatment to you in detail and answer any questions you may have.

Regular Appointments

After the Records Appointment, we will be ready to schedule the appointment to get the new appliances (braces, expanders, Invisalign, etc.) placed. Getting appliances placed usually takes between one and two hours. You will then see us at regular intervals four to eight weeks apart for your adjustment. As long as nothing is broken, these adjustments take about 30 minutes.

Patients are seen by appointment only. We make every effort to be on time, and we ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify us immediately.
